We got accepted to move into the house we applied for so we have 2 weeks to move! Laur and Doug have offered to come help us move. I want to have the majority of it done before they get here so they can spend some time vacationing. It's so crazy to think that we will be moving from this park and all these sidewalks.
I never thought the day would come of "eat one noodle and you can get down", yet lucky for us it has come.
With all of the hustle and bustle of moving Ad continues to help me keep smiling and laughing.
It's amazing the things you find when you move. This was one Dinky's Halloween costume. A toddler hippo costume!
We move in 3 days....crazy times!

Jump Jump
We have come to the sad realization that our backyard is rather, well boring. We spend at least 30 minutes to an hour at the park every night playing on the toys, so when we were deciding what we were going to invest in to put in the backyard we didn't feel like we could outdo the park that is around the block. So we decided on a trampoline. Once we actually had it in our possession I then had the "what were we thinking?!" thought. I am so worried Adelé will land funny and paralyze herself or something.
After Oley spent the entire day setting the tramp up in the pouring rain - there really was no going back.
Which is okay because Ad absolutely loves this thing!

Making Valentines
Now that Adelé wants to participate in everything that I am doing she and I made some Valentines to send to her family. She loved getting to color all over the inside of the cards and was so proud when we were all done.
She loves to pester Dinky. Her new favorite ways are to chase him with her car and sit with him while she eats food he knows he isn't supposed to eat.
When she isn't playing with the dogs you can be sure to find her with a book. Tonight she was carrying around her doll and kitty - interesting she chose those two to play with someday she will realize the significance of both of those toys.

Ad's Toy Box
Adelé is quickly acquiring toys. The little basket in her bedroom used to be big enough that it could accommodate them all. With Christmas coming I asked Oley to make her one of two things: either a toy box or a book shelf. He decided on the toy box. While he spent the afternoon out in the garage building it Ad and I had some quality time in the house. She loves to brush her teeth.
The toy box turned out fabulous!
Trying to decide what color we were going to paint it was the hardest decision we made. I wasn't sure that I wanted something - but I guess you only live once, so rather than stain it to match the rest of her bedroom furniture we went all out!
She is going to love it!

Grandma Love
Adelé is one of the luckiest babies ever! Not only does she have 3 of the most loving Grandma's around they are all incredibly talented. We wanted to include them in her blessing and sealing day and so asked each of them to make part of her outfit for the day. Kim has knitted her hats and booties for all of her big milestones thus far in her life (announcement of the sex of the baby and while in the delivery room) and we wanted to continue with the tradition. So we had asked her to knit some booties that Adelé could wear to the temple and at her blessing. They turned out absolutely adorable!
We also asked Shelbie to make one of her amazing quilts. We love it! It's the same design as the one she made us when we were sealed but is specifically for Adelé. The pictures really don't do it justice.
It's hard to see in the picture but she has put her name along the bottom.
And the Idaho Falls temple is stitched into the rest of the quilt.
Lastly, to keep with tradition we asked my mom to make her a dress. This wasn't just any dress though, we specifically asked if there was anyway she could just make a smaller version of my wedding dress. After searching for a pattern that would resemble my wedding dress my mom finally just made up a pattern herself.
My mom amazes me everyday! Her dress was almost identical to mine. Unfortunately, trying to get a picture was more of a challenge than I thought it was going to be.
After we tried unsuccessfully to get a full length picture of the dress I had Oley try to hold her up.
When that failed I just laid her down and hoped for the best. Silly Baby!
Our little bug is blessed beyond measure to have such amazing women to look up to. We love her Grandmas and couldn't ask for better women in her life! I am so grateful that they were willing to share their talents with her, I know that these will be mementos that she cherishes for her lifetime. We love you!

Adelé's Craft
I try to keep up on holidays and special occasions with Adelé and Thanksgiving was no different. As I was trying to figure out what cutesy little thing we were going to do I came across these cute little turkeys that are made out of hands. It was perfect! So after church Adelé and I got our craft on together. She is getting to the point where she wants to be involved in everything I am doing anyway so I figured just let her help me out, well and I needed her hands!
They actually turned out pretty cute! While I finished up putting them in envelopes Adelé finished up her night with Oley. I absolutely love having her in our family, we are truly blessed!

Getting My Craft On
I feel bad that I haven't gotten much done in Adelé's room but what little I have done makes me feel all crafty!
Aunt Kathy bought us this cute saying but I didn't want to put it on a wall becuase if we move soon than that would have been a waste, what better place than putting it on a mirror! It still looks a little plain but that's how it's going to stay for awhile. Adelé loves looking at herself in it!
I am so glad that I finally got Adelé's name done, I wanted to have this all done and put together before she was born, I am glad that it's done now. I love the way that it turned out! I love having a little girl and putting all this pink frilly stuff in her room.
I love making bows for Adelé, but I was having a hard time of keeping them all organized. I saw a great idea online for a bow holder and I am liking the way it turned out!
Even though her room is a work in progress, I love when I get a couple free minutes to do something more to it! Now that I think about it, I should have taken a picture so you could see all of her room. . . next time I make room updates I will remember to!

Day Of Service
Every year our church does a National Day of Service and since we have been married we have tried to become involved in our congregation's service project. In year's past we have moved pea-gravel out of a playground and replaced it with bark, painted shelters, and cleaned cemeteries this year we got to work on flowerbeds outside an elementary school. So that sounded like it was no big deal, but obviously this school was in desperate need, first they had more flowerbeds than I could even count and second I don't think they have weeded them since last year when they hosted the national day of service. Needless to say there was a lot of work to be done.
While using his manly power Oley accidentally punctured the hose that they use as their sprinkler line. With a little bit of help and a great teaching opportunity for the young men they were able to fix it.
Oley and I were able to stay for 4 hours and then had to head off to fill previous obligations, but the time that we were able to spend there was uplifting. It was good to work alongside others but by the time we were done Adelé was more than happy to be home.

| This was about as happy as she was to be there the whole time. |

After we got home Adelé was so happy to be home and on her mat with her best buddy Dinky.
After a long day of service and a baptism she attended with me she zonked, mouth to mouth with her hippo of course!

Getting so Big
It's unbelievable how fast Adelé has been growing. She now is able to hold up her head fairly well on her own and smiles at everyone. Her little pout it also adorable making it extremely hard to take her seriously sometimes. She is getting more and more friendly with the puppies - who absolutely adore her.
I love our babies - we truly have been blessed with the cutest little girl!Adelé definitely holds Oley's heart in her hand. He would do anything for this his little princess.
Since we had so much going on the months surrounding the arrival of Adelé my co-workers form my previous department wanted to throw us a baby shower. Before Adelé was here I was very persistent that we would not have a baby shower - I didn't think this would happen but having it fall through like our last experience would have made it that much more difficult had we let someone throw a baby shower. I still didn't think having one was necessary but our sneaky secretary sent out an outlook invite and once it was on vice president's calendars there was no cancelling. I am so glad that they did though it turned out great - they really are good to us! It was good to bring Adelé so they all could meet our little pride and joy.
Adelé loves all the gifts that she got and so do we.
I was also able to get Adelé's name finally put on her wall, YAY!
Eventually there will be a bookcase under the name but until I find one that matches her crib and dresser this will have to do!
Haha! Love these little feet. This summer has just flown by but the weather in the pacific northwest has just been beautiful - I can't wait for next summer when we can take Adelé camping and to the beach!
