Adelé is one of the luckiest babies ever! Not only does she have 3 of the most loving Grandma's around they are all incredibly talented. We wanted to include them in her blessing and sealing day and so asked each of them to make part of her outfit for the day. Kim has knitted her hats and booties for all of her big milestones thus far in her life (announcement of the sex of the baby and while in the delivery room) and we wanted to continue with the tradition. So we had asked her to knit some booties that Adelé could wear to the temple and at her blessing. They turned out absolutely adorable!
We also asked Shelbie to make one of her amazing quilts. We love it! It's the same design as the one she made us when we were sealed but is specifically for Adelé. The pictures really don't do it justice.
It's hard to see in the picture but she has put her name along the bottom.
And the Idaho Falls temple is stitched into the rest of the quilt.
Lastly, to keep with tradition we asked my mom to make her a dress. This wasn't just any dress though, we specifically asked if there was anyway she could just make a smaller version of my wedding dress. After searching for a pattern that would resemble my wedding dress my mom finally just made up a pattern herself.
My mom amazes me everyday! Her dress was almost identical to mine. Unfortunately, trying to get a picture was more of a challenge than I thought it was going to be.
After we tried unsuccessfully to get a full length picture of the dress I had Oley try to hold her up.
When that failed I just laid her down and hoped for the best. Silly Baby!
Our little bug is blessed beyond measure to have such amazing women to look up to. We love her Grandmas and couldn't ask for better women in her life! I am so grateful that they were willing to share their talents with her, I know that these will be mementos that she cherishes for her lifetime. We love you!

8 Months
Adelé Bug is 8 months! This past month she mastered the art of army crawling and was big enough to sit in the cart all by herself at the grocery store. She loves to sit in her highchair and feed herself finger foods, especially little pieces of bread. With her new found mobility she is constantly on the move!
Cuddling with Dinky and Dad is still her favorite nightly ritual.
We let her try oranges and she loved them!
She is still just as happy as can be. She is talking a lot more now and loves to squeal as she chases the dogs in her walker. Fun things she has learned to do this month include clapping her hands together, shaking her head even faster back and forth, splashing water in the sink, and is working on her ability to wave bye. She loves to shove her fingers in your mouth and feel your teeth and compares them to hers. She has two bottom teeth and her top tooth is breaking it's way through. We love our little bug!

On The Road Again
Thursday we got ourselves ready to hit the road again. It was so nice to be able to spend time with our loved ones during the holidays, but let's be honest we were ready to be back home! Oley wanted to be on the road by noon that really turned into like 4 o'clock. But when a woman packs the car everything fits!
Marilee wanted some pictures of her boys and family before we left so I made sure we got at least one good one of each of the boys. Next time we see them they will be so big!
We then stopped by and said our good byes to Shelbie and I really wanted to get a picture with Allison so we stopped by her house too! I am so glad we did. We love her!
Once we finally got on the road we were ready to be in Boise.
When we got to Lauralynn and Doug's the kids went crazy! The girls had so much fun letting Ryker push them around in the clothes basket.
We spent the next day just relaxing with Lauralynn and then went and saw the fountains with Liz and Doug.
The next morning I took some photos for Laur and then we were on the road again.
Little Bug had a really rough ride home.
Once we got here our house was freezing!!
But we made it! We are so grateful for everyone that came and supported us during our celebrations and that we were able to spend so much time with family! We can't wait to see everyone again!

New Years
We spent New Years Eve and New Years with all of our family this year! As Oley and I got ready for the day Grandma Debbie played with Adelé.
New Year's day we spent with the Burke's.
We are so fortunate to have such good families. We loved the time we were able to spend with them this trip and can't wait to see them all again!
We got to spend time with the DeArtons that morning. Adelé
still remembered Allison from when she visited so was happy to see her again and so were we! I forgot to take pictures while we were there...
We then went to Doug and Shelbie's for the evening.
Adelé was spoiled beyond reason by her Grandma Shelbie, but that's what Grandma's are for right! I was excited to get to see Roarke and Amanda's new house, which was super nice!
Adelé
loved playing with her Cousin Jake and Abigail. Lucky for us it started snowing as we were leaving Rigby, Oley was so excited to show Adelé the falling snow once we arrived back at mom's house.
The rest of the evening we played some games with my siblings and then called it a night.
2013 turned out to be one of the best years of our married life! We are so fortunate for the blessings we have received this year!
