Oley is so good about reminding me that we need to make it to the temple once a month. Since we have had Adelé we typically will take turns so one of us can stay out with her. While Oley was in this past time Adelé and I enjoyed the spring weather. It's getting so nice here and she loves to be outside so we walked the temple grounds and I tried to help her explore the world around her.
After I showed her Moroni on the spire she kept pointing up to him and giggling. Love this girl!
Of course we needed to take a couple selfies.
I wouldn't want to break the tradition of taking a picture of her in front of the sign. I am sure by the time we is 2 she will have so many of these - haha (I am pathetic)!
There were some flowers on the ground from the trees and so I let her feel the texture of one. You know the drill she had to make sure she got the complete texture by putting it not only in her hands but her mouth too!
I love my little monster!

11 Months
I know I say this all the time but I can't believe Adelé is almost a year old. It's unbelievable how quickly she is growing. She crawls around the house like a champ pulling herself up onto all the furniture. Dinky and Lily continue to be the subject of her torture as she crawls towards them squealing with joy. Occasionally she will catch them and they will lick her. She loves to position herself just right on our bed so she can feel them behind her and then lay back on top of them. She loves her puppies!
Recently she has decided that taking her socks off her feet and shoving them in her month is a great game.
She is still the light in everyone's life, she continually smiles to everyone in the grocery stores. She loves to sit in the cart and just get all the Ooosss and Aaaahhhs.
11 months later she still is not a fan of the car seat, but has learned to tolerate it. When we put the cover up over it she will pull it back so that she can see everything that is going on. She just loves to be in the world!
Her little personality comes to life more and more everyday as is seen in her facial expressions.
I love the jibberish that she speaks - it is so adorable! Although she does only have one volume and it is very loud, causing us to spend more and more time out in the hall during sacrament meeting.
She has recently started saying what sounds like "I Did That". She is becoming more and more fun everyday! We Love our Little Adelé!

Easter
We got to celebrate Adelé's first Easter! Holidays are by far more enjoyable when experienced with a child. We started our weekend getting to to talk with Allison and see Papa Greg and Grandma Kim via Skype.
Saturday I made our traditional peanut butter eggs. When I done dipping them I had a little bit of dipping chocolate left. Needless to say I let Adelé enjoy finger painting her highchair, herself, and everything else with it. She had a ball!
She was incredibly spoiled by Grandma Debbie getting her own Easter candy, a beautiful new dress and a new My Little Pony! Mom and Dad felt the need to spoil her as well with her own Easter basket filled with books and Chocolate Easter Bunnies.
After church we had a nice dinner with Shawnie and Leimomi and let Adelé enjoy some more chocolate and dye Easter eggs!
By bed time our bug was off her sugar high and exhausted. I am so grateful we have the opportunity to have the gospel in our lives. I am grateful for our Savior and I know that He lives. I know that through His sacrifice there is life after death and we will be able to return to live with our families again. The joy that Adelé brings into our life is something that I would never want to lose and I know that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can be together forever as a family!

Busy Weekend
Aunt Kathy was up visiting Grandma and Grandpa this past weekend. We haven't seen her since the sealing and so we had tried to find a time that we would be able to go up and see her. Unfortunately Oley had taken the scouts camping Friday night and had scout stuff all day Saturday so was unable to go with me. So Baby A got ready to drive up and visit them. As I was getting ready A was in our bedroom playing. When I came out to find her I found that she had climbed on top of the coffee table! She is going to be a fun toddler.
Once we were finally ready to go we were able to have a nice lunch with Kathy and Traci and her family. Ad absolutely adores Grandpa and could just sit and watch him all day long.
When we got home that evening we had ordered some pizza. Our little bug loves pizza and surprised both of us by eating an entire slice herself.
This was the first real nice weekend. So after church I put her out on the lawn. She loved the feel of the grass on her hands.

Spring Vacation
We had discussed taking Emily with us to Idaho and Utah for her spring break and to take her down to Utah and let her see temple square and attend a session of general conference. Unfortunately, as the time drew nearer she was not able to go with us but we still had planned to go to support Roarke and Amanda in blessing their little Samuel.
I took off of work a little early on Friday and we met up with Allison, Kim, Caitlin and Nathan in Seattle. Allison and her mom had come to visit Caitlin and we wanted to at least see them once while they were in the area. So we met them at Pike Place.
She was feeling a little bit better the next day so I let Oley take her swimming with him and Dougie. (unfortunately when my phone pooped out I lost all my swimming pictures)
Ryker and Kaylynn got a new swing set that Ad loved swinging in.

The first time we met Allison we had taken her to pike place and taken a picture next to the pigs. We wanted to recreate the moment with Baby A.
After dinner and some frozen yogurt we headed to Boise. We were able to stop and get some rest before finishing our journey to Idaho Falls.
Caitlin had sent us with some homemade cinnamon rolls, which were delicious.
We took A to Texas Roadhouse - my all time favorite place to eat! She loved the rolls as much as I do. She especially loved being able to sit next to her cousin Kaylynn. They were giggling the entire dinner.
After dinner we left for Idaho Falls. As we were pulling into Idaho Falls it was in wee
hours of the morning and it was starting to snow. While we were there
is was called and snowy the entire time. Sam's blessing was good. We
went back to my mom's house to nap before we took on the rest of the
week!
We went with Doug and Shelbie to Island
Park for a few days. It was a lot of fun. Except for Adelé was really
sick. It was the first time she had thrown up in a long time and had a
really high fever. She didn't sleep at all and looked miserable. I
felt so bad for her. It was horrible having a sick baby when you aren't
at home in her own bed.

We were able to get back into Idaho Falls and spend some time with my family and see Allison one more time.
Then headed back to Boise on our way home. Laur and Robyn took a couple quick pics for us. It's been awhile since we took a family photo!Ryker and Kaylynn got a new swing set that Ad loved swinging in.
It was a good little
get-away. Reminded us why we love living in the northwest where it
isn't snowy and cold in the beginning of April!
