I took off of work a little early on Friday and we met up with Allison, Kim, Caitlin and Nathan in Seattle. Allison and her mom had come to visit Caitlin and we wanted to at least see them once while they were in the area. So we met them at Pike Place.
The first time we met Allison we had taken her to pike place and taken a picture next to the pigs. We wanted to recreate the moment with Baby A.
After dinner and some frozen yogurt we headed to Boise. We were able to stop and get some rest before finishing our journey to Idaho Falls.
Caitlin had sent us with some homemade cinnamon rolls, which were delicious.
We took A to Texas Roadhouse - my all time favorite place to eat! She loved the rolls as much as I do. She especially loved being able to sit next to her cousin Kaylynn. They were giggling the entire dinner.
After dinner we left for Idaho Falls. As we were pulling into Idaho Falls it was in wee
hours of the morning and it was starting to snow. While we were there
is was called and snowy the entire time. Sam's blessing was good. We
went back to my mom's house to nap before we took on the rest of the
week!
We went with Doug and Shelbie to Island
Park for a few days. It was a lot of fun. Except for Adelé was really
sick. It was the first time she had thrown up in a long time and had a
really high fever. She didn't sleep at all and looked miserable. I
felt so bad for her. It was horrible having a sick baby when you aren't
at home in her own bed.
She was feeling a little bit better the next day so I let Oley take her swimming with him and Dougie. (unfortunately when my phone pooped out I lost all my swimming pictures)
We were able to get back into Idaho Falls and spend some time with my family and see Allison one more time.
Then headed back to Boise on our way home. Laur and Robyn took a couple quick pics for us. It's been awhile since we took a family photo!Ryker and Kaylynn got a new swing set that Ad loved swinging in.
It was a good little
get-away. Reminded us why we love living in the northwest where it
isn't snowy and cold in the beginning of April!
