The perks of living close to Grandma and Grandpa is that when people come to visit they are able to see us too! My mom and Robyn flew in to help Grandma Sheila transition from the hospital back to her house after her hip surgery. Oley met up with them on Thursday at the airport to have lunch and pick up Robyn. Adelé was excited to show her grandma her hands! She loves them.
Robyn came home with Oley and Mom went to Mill Creek with Grandpa. It was so fun having just Robyn come and stay with us. On Thursday we went searching for a Halloween costume for Adelé, we actually knew exactly what we wanted but when we got online to order it they were sold out, so we were hoping that the Halloween store would have it. They didn't. . . bummer. But that just meant the next day we could stop at the one in Auburn on our way up to Grandma's house.
It was so nice to go shopping with some female company, not that shopping with Oley isn't fun but it is nice to have another female there. And it was even more great that we found the costume!
Being at Grandma's house without Grandma there was hard, but it was nice to be able to go and visit her in the hospital. She loved having Adelé there we spent the majority of our afternoon with her visiting with Grandpa. As we waited for the nurses to assess Grandma we went out to hang in the hall.
Once we went back into the room Adelé was exhausted from all the giggling she had done in the hallway so took a quick power nap before we headed back to Grandma's house.
While getting her ready for bed we remembered that we hadn't taken a Dinky and Baby picture for awhile. So we made sure to get one in. It's crazy to look through the pictures and see how much she grows in comparison to Dinky.
Unfortunately, we had to leave early enough Sunday morning so that we could make it to our ward for church. So we said our goodbyes to family and got home just in time.
We tried her Halloween Costume on after I got home from work. I am so excited for her first Halloween!
