Labor Day Weekend ~ Day 1

Marilee and Jacob blessed their little Oden this past weekend and since Oley and I had a long three day weekend we let them know we were going to make the loooong drive to Idaho Falls to come support.  We had anticipated that we would be able to leave by about 3 PM, but after a long day of work for the both of us we didn't really get on the road until 7.  Needless to say it was a long weekend and everyone was trying to get out of Seattle we sat in traffic for 2 hours on the pass.  Once we finally were on our way I was able to stay awake long enough to get us to Baker City.  Oley than drove for 98 miles and then I drove the last 20 miles.  We were dog tired by the time we ended at Lauralynn and Doug's, just in time for them to be waking up to go and see the hot air balloons. 
We opted to join them and went and got some Krispy Kreme's and enjoyed the hot air balloon show. 

After the hot air balloons we went back to Laur's house to try to get a little rest in.  

 Two hours later we were ready to hit the road again.  This time destination Idaho Falls. 

Once we got to IF we went and had dinner with the family at my all time favorite Texas Roadhouse, and then Reeds Dairy with Oley's side of the family.  Once we were finally able to sleep we crashed hard at Matt and Dannie's new place.  After only having 4 hours of sleep in the past 48 we were out cold.
